Pain Bridge — What is it?

Our streamlined second opinion process and patient testimonials

What is a Virtual Second Opinion?

A virtual second opinion is an expert medical review you receive entirely online. Instead of traveling to another hospital or country, you securely share your test results, scans, and a summary of your symptoms through a private portal. A specialist—someone who was not involved in your original care—examines this information, confirms (or questions) the diagnosis, and suggests the best next steps. You then receive a clear, written report you can discuss with your local doctor, and you may schedule a video call to ask follow-up questions.

Virtual consultations deliver expert insight and peace of mind without travel: records are reviewed remotely, and 67% of virtual second opinions lead to a change in diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

Medicine often offers more than one safe path forward. Getting a second set of eyes from a doctor who sees rare or complex cases every day can reveal new treatment options, refine your current plan, or simply give you the peace of mind that you're on the right track. Studies show that about two-thirds of virtual second opinions lead to a change in diagnosis or treatment recommendation—proof that an outside perspective can make a real difference.
